Day at the Dentist

This is what Megan looked like this morning. Except for the smile. My dad is a dentist and even though he practices in California, he has always taken care of us. That is until Anna and Megan showed up with horrible teeth. Megan was the latest to have two crowns done. I have never even had a crown. My dad told me with these two that he couldn't do it and to take them to a pediadontist in AZ. Boy is it expensive. So, this morning we got to the office at 7:30 a.m. so she could drink the sedation medicine. She bit the doctor during this procedure as well. After 45 minutes, she was taken back and administered the gas like shown in the picture. I could hear her scream as I sat in the waiting room. I am exhausted. The doctor said it sounded worse than it was. In a month we get to go back so he can do 2 more on the other side. Joy! So, now I have been watching her sleep for the past 3 1/2 hours. I hate the dentist. Love you Dad!

Oh, I feel your pain. Just went through that with Jocelyn last week. It sure is tempting to just have those nasty little baby teeth pulled instead of crowned.

Look at it this way... what else are you gonna do with your money?

Oh, I am so sorry! That does not sound fun! What a blessing that they can knock her out so she won't be scarred for life!

I hate the dentist too!!! Always have and always will. Even your dad...I would like him until he turned into the evil dentist man! I always have a white knuckle grip on those chair arms so hard and tears roll constantly down the sides of my face as I lay there. My dentist for sure thinks I am an immature idiot!

At least you know your money went to "stylish" gas masks and glasses...where did they get a cute little pink gas mask? Good luck...soooo sad

And Uncle Terry....I really do like you :)

You poor baby! (both of you:) I hate the dentist too, when I was little I had pretty bad teeth, so I learned to hate him young. I still go though, a necessary evil, the worst part is what we have to pay to go through this crap!
