Celebrating the end

Tonight we had a little New Year's Eve celebration at Vyla's house. We barbequed and had a fire pit.

Pinetop

Every year we take a trip to the snow. We stay at a timeshare in Pinetop. It is really our only getaway by ourselves as a family. We set our goals for the upcoming year and spend quality time together. We ski and go sledding. Here are some pictures of our sledding time.

Christmas Dinner

We don't have any pictures of Christmas morning. However, we managed to get a photo of the dinner table. I love to decorate for the holidays and entertain. We always top our special dinners off with Martinelli's sparkling cider.

Our cousin Derek married Ashlee. They had a fun reception at Lavendar and Old Lace. Cousins are the best.

Preschool Program

Megan is the 3rd child to go through Miss Peggy's preschool. They always do a great Christmas program. Megan loves to sing and perform and she made a beautiful angel.

Every year at Christmas time we bake cookies and make plates for our neighbors. The kids are a huge help. We have a great time.

Puppet Show

Growing up in LaCrescenta, we had a tradition in our ward that at Christmas we had a marionnette show. As luck would have it, the show was going on while we were in California. It was so fun to share this tradition with Anna and Megan as well as Dixie and Emma. I'll let the pictures tell the story.

American Girl

When Anna turned 8 she got an American girl doll. There is a store is Hollywood right next to CBS studios. We took the girls there and Anna had her dolls' hair done at the salon while we browsed through the 2 story store.
